For any visitor to paxos, hiring a boat is an absolute 'must'. A boat enables you to explore the island by sea, visiting beautiful beaches which may not otherwise be easily accessible, as well as the famous blue caves. you can escape the relative chaos of the island's roads and enjoy swimming in the secluded coves you discover.
Boats can be hired from 9am until 6pm. When the weather is good, you can go around the island and to Antipaxos. If you book a boat for a period of three days or more, a discount will be given. Third party insurance is included in the hire price and fuel is calculated and paid for after the return of the boat.
A full refund will be given due to bad weather, as ordered by the Port Police.
For your convenience, the boat can be delivered to Glyfada Beach, Mongonisi and Paxos Beach Hotel.
All boats include the following:
- electric start engines*, cushions*, canopy, first aid flares, oars, adult and child life jackets, anchor, ladder
*not included on 15 hp models
The boats more than 30hp need a driver licence.
Panagiotis can be found in loggos harbour by the captain nikos’ souvenir shop (another part of the family business) or at mastoras supermarket, 80 metres from the harbour, at the entrance to the village on the road to lakka.
